MCCS- School
for the Deaf-January 2004
Local real estate broker, Tom Stanton and his wife Toni made their annual mission trip to Mexico. They, among other Christians have been volunteering their time to assist this school for deaf children in Mexico. This school is a real blessing to these children.

children at school.

The campus at Rio Bravo has been constructed solely by volunteer
labor. Groups volunteer for 1 and 2 week trips year round. The summer groups
consist mostly of high school and college students.

The majority of the work this year consisted of mixing stucco
and plastering concrete and adobe blocks.

Corrie Moore, full-time
missionary and teacher, enter acts with the deaf children. Beacuse of the teaching
skills of Corrie, for the first time in their lives, these children discover that they
have a name.

Along with school, the
children are taught a trade in order to give them the opportunity to become productive
adults.

Currently there are 21 students enrolled at the school. The cost
is $25.00/month. Donations are accepted in order to help the children with the
costs.

The ground floor of this building is currently the school but will one
day serve as the dorm so the children can live on campus.

Tom and Toni- We have a
heart for this mission and these children.
We pray that you too can one day share this experience with us.
