The Peninsula in Gulf Shores---27 holes---800 acres, Beautiful Homes !

Want paradise in your own backyard? This is all made possible at the Peninsula. The gated community of the Peninsula offers 27 spectacular holes of golf, a racquet and fitness club, and beautiful nature preserves. Want the beach too? The shore of the Bon Secure Bay is just a walk away from your doorstep. The beautiful homes, nice facilities, and the serene environment all make Peninsula one of the finest communities in Gulf Shores.

The Peninsula has a limited number of condos as well as gracious homes with golf course views and wooded lots in the exclusive area called "The Reserve"

The Guardhouse is near the entrance, just past the Golf Clubhouse. The Clubhouse has a Pro Shop, Cafe/Grill, and there is a big indoor swimming pool in addition to the outdoor pool.

There is so little traffic at The Peninsula that you can easily zip around in your golf cart.

The Wharf Golf Club--formerly Gulf Shores Golf Club--right in town

The Wharf Golf Club, located in the heart of Gulf Shores, is open to the public. The beautiful, well-maintained courses offer many challenges for the more skilled golfer. And for those who might need a little fine tuning to their game the professionals are always nearby to help. he Golf Club of The Wharf features 18 championship holes, a few sharp doglegs, a good supply of bunkers, and the occasional water hazard. Redesigned by Jay and Carter Morrish, the course's design will challenge the best of players, but is forgiving enough to allow high handicappers the opportunity for a great round. Designed in the traditional plantation-style, the Clubhouse at The Golf Club of The Wharf is complete with a dining room and golf Pro Shop. Golf Members are entitled to play the golf course without paying a green fee.

There are several neighborhoods surrounding the course with beautiful homes lining the streets. And for families with children, the baseball field and kids park is within walking distance. Next to the park is the David L. Bodenhamer Center. The Bodenhamer Center offers aerobics classes, a weightlifting room, an indoor track, basketball courts, an indoor pool, racquetball courts, and tennis courts. If you are looking for a different type of leisure the Adult Activity Center is right across the street. Plays, concerts, and other events take place here, making this one of the most entertaining places in Gulf Shores. The museum and the library are also close by for education on many different levels. There are also many other buildings located in this area. For example, the police station, the fire department, banks, grocery stores, video stores, doctors, dentists and more are all just right around the corner. This particular area has much to offer for both big and small families. Come and join our community where there is something for everyone!

Kiva Dunes Golf & Beach Club

Kiva Dunes, home to one of America’s finest golf courses, is a great place to live in the area. Kiva Dunes offers not only a top of the line course that challenges experienced golfers, but also affordable lessons from professionals to instruct the less experienced. There is, however, more to Kiva Dunes than the golf course. For example, Kiva Dunes has its own private beaches, lodging, restaurants, and a beautiful community with pools and club houses. Kiva Dunes is a great place to live or get away for a nice relaxing week in paradise.

Woodlands: After 11 years, The Woodlands at Craft Farms has closed. Craft Farms still includes Cotton Creek Golf Course and Cypress Bend Golf Course. The 188 acre property will be used for a commercial and residential development. The original clubhouse will remain as a community center and most of the staff will relocate to the other courses at Craft Farms.
