Coastal Pet Resort--Are
you bringing your pet to the beach ? Coastal Pet Resort is a luxury pet resort and kennel
serving the entire Gulf Coast area. Coastal Pet Resort's services include boarding and
grooming to doggie day camp programs. They can provide accomodations for all types of
pets.
Gulf Place--The public beach area of Gulf Shores has a wonderful master plan for a pedestrian area called Gulf Place. We hope that this mixed use plan is eventually followed to develop an attractive and safe showcase for our beautiful Gulf beach.
Gulf State Park

This 6,000-acre park features picnicing areas, an 18-hole golf course with water features
and natural wildlife, an 825-foot fishing pier, a nature center, cabins, campsites, and a
144-room motel and convention center on The Beach Highway (180). Activities include
camping, fishing, swimming, biking, tennis and canoeing and of course the beautiful Gulf
State Park white sugar sand beach.
The Bon
Secour Wildlife Refuge

The refuge features 6,200 acres of natural oasis. Highlights are the five miles of gulf
beach, fresh- and saltwater fishing, 5 miles of walking trails, and museum. Museum is open
Mon.–Fri. 8–4. Trails are open year-round, 7 days a week, during daylight hours.
Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge was established by legislative act in 1980 to protect
and preserve rapidly vanishing coastal barrier habitat. The maritime forests, coastal
marsh, beaches and open waters of the refuge provide essential habitat for an amazing
diversity of birds. The refuge's strategic location along the flyway of millions of spring
and fall migrants, combined with the habitat provided, makes Bon Secour one of the most
important refuges in the refuge system.
Perdido Key Condo and Rental Information--nearby Perdido Key is still less developed than Gulf Shores and Orange beach have become. Many people prefer the lower density of the Perdido Key beaches.
Orange Beach area information and activities. The Orange Beach area was once 'second fiddle' to Gulf Shores, but not any more. Orange Beach is considered the primary destination for many now.
